Hi
todat I have a strange error:
I enabled the forum's built-in email client. I click on the url send email to this user, but the page opened have some errors:
The email panel is double, one inside the other... and a bit of the page code is written in the message.

Now I stamp that page, and attach it.

I didn't modify the layout of the forum, but the header.tmpl

Thanks for your help!!! Shocked

Looks like you didn't modify the header correctly.

All the page works correctly, but not that page.
If the header were uncorrect, all the page have errors..
In the header I add only one table.

I think the error is in the .tmpl of that page (send email), which is it?

I'll attach it, when I find it.

Thanks Ilia Confused

I suppose that is possible, send me your header (and any other modified) templates and I'll try to replicate the problem.

I see you are using 2.6.8, you may want to grab the email.tmpl from cvs and try it. The bug itself looks like something I've seen and believe resolved in later versions.

header.tmpl will remain the same, forum.css.tmpl did change since 2.6.8, so make a backup of it and then replace the new one with your revision.

Images will remain the same, the Italian translation was updated, so it will change too.

Sorry, I don't understand this part of the upgrade instructions:

...Once it runs you will need to run the consistency checker, which normally will be automatically started in a new windows via JavaScript.

What is consistency checker?

Thanks !!

It's a link of the admin control panel if it is not executed automatically. It is basically a process to make sure that all of forum's data is correct and if not adjust it.

Sad hi,
I run the upgrade.php file and upgrade the forum.

After, I was not able to open the pop up whit the consistency checker.

So I go to the index of the forum and try to enter in the admin control panel but I can't. It is a permanent error!!!

I removed the upgrade.php, but I can't access to the admin control panel.

Can I access it in another way or I have to reinstall entire forum. There are some other solutions??

Thanks for your help!!!

I've found the error and I correct it.

The /adm folder's permission changed from 755 to 777. My server works only whit 755 permission.

I hope that there are'nt some other folder changed.

If you know it, please tell me.

Thanks

The send email panel now is ok.

I would like to sobstitute the new forum.css.tmpl whit my forum.css.tmpl

The two files seem equal, can I know what is the css upgrade so I do it manually to my old css. I think it's bit change , or not?

I find this adds : a.UserControlPanel:visited

Thanks Ilia Smile
