With html and fudcode off, html code that you could not see in posts made to the Fudforum usenet forum, were however making it to the usenet with html code (i.e. <br>  )

The problem was resolved by applying patches 3477 and 3479 in that order.

btw - I first tried using the entire new versions of the files listed in the patch, instead of just patching. It provided me a header error when posting using the new files, not sure why. Went back to 2.6.12 versions of files, ran patch and everthing is working, no errors.
