Is there a way to get statistics of how many people are logging in and using the forum each day? Perhaps a count of sessions or something?
I'd like to know how many people are using the webforum versus the newsgroup on my system. apache tells me 'hits' which is not very helpful.
The Forums Stats aren't helpful because they don't include 'logins' /'sessions'. The number of posted messages appears to include those incoming from the newsgroup.

You can periodically check the session table, however you need to keep in mind that the session data gets cleared every once in a while to prevent pile up of old information.
