I'm suddenly in a terrible hurry on this, so pardon me if I've missed something obvious.
Set up fudforum's latest version just fine. Everything working great. Changed register globals to off in php.ini, and increased file upload limit.
Now I get a blank screen when going to the index.php.
I'm not even sure how to get to the config file from the back end.
Any help is appreciated.

solved.
Sorry, turns out the ISP reset mysql users during some troubleshooting of the php.ini effects.
fudforum had it's own user, so access was killed.
btw, I found this out by turning error reporting on in php.ini if that might help someone. the errors then appear on the screen.
