I reinstalled eGroupWare and I restored mysql fromd datadump. FudForum seems fine, the forum structures are restored, the thread structures are restored, even message structures are restored, but messages are empty. There is no text inside of any message. Dump was executed with no errors by mysql. Any ideas why it might be the case?

Thanks.

Regards, Alexander.

Messages are stored on filesystem. You need to restore the FUDdata/messages/ directory as well.

Best regards.

Did not know that, I thought mysql has it all. Too bad I lost that directory. Thanks for your reply. Now I should be smarter.
