Hello,

I'm managing forum for my Salsoholics Wink

Well, I've got access to shell - it's my server. What do you recommend to make 'FUDforumilke' datadump from cron or from scripts? Right now I'm using script like this:

pg_dump forumname | bzip2 -c9 > forumname-${date}-sql.bz2
tar cpf - FUDforum-special-directory | bzip2 -c9 > FUDforum-special-directory.tar.bz2

But, tar all FUDforum special dir is very, very size expensive. And additional I cannot make 'import' from FUDforum admin menu (what is obvious).

What I ask: is there any solution to run internal FUDforum backup script from shell? Or should I make script based on that (I'm able to, I'm PHP&PG developer).

PS. FUDforum is great! So simple, so nice. And it supports postgresql... Smile
