Hi everybody,

We have a new install of FUDforum and are having the following problem.

All messages that are entered are being corrupted, there is a space after every second character, plus a few weird characters thrown in every now and again just for good measure Smile

For example, "This is a test" will display as:

Th is is a te st !!

We are trialing FUD 1.2.7, mysql 3.23.49 and php 4.0.6 running on redhat 7.2. Just wondering if anyone has seen this behaviour before.

This is something new, haven't seen this before...

Could you show me the output of phpinfo(); on your system.

Certainly, here it is here

It's just a default redhat apache/php install (via RPM).

Note if you preview the message it shows corrupted in the preview as well.

Guys:

we upgraded to 1.2.8 and the problem has disappeared, so I'm not sure if you want to persue it or not. Thanks for your time anyway - the forum is great with just about every feature we could ever ask for. I hope to be able to contribute to it in the future.

If 1.2.8 fixed, I'll assume that release had a fix for this bug.
