In perfect world core.inc would automatically be edited whenever you do a checkout. SO that the version is CVS-DATESTAMP.
But, since we do not live in a perfect world it always carries the last release version.

Honestly I don't understand the fuss about a version which is *clearly* marked as experimental. Smile

The version number is probably the most unimportant thing currently on the fud2 series... Wink
