Full error message:
Beginning SQL Upgrades
MySQL Error: #1075 (Incorrect table definition; there can be only one auto column and it must be defined as a key): ALTER TABLE GEMSForum_thread_view CHANGE pos pos INT NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT

I've had this error before and you said that it was due to the format of the thread_view table being InnoDB. The table is InnoDB again, this time. However, I've tried changing the table to MyISAM and I've even tried dropping the table. I still get the error message and the re-created thread_view table is InnoDB again Crying or Very Sad .

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ken

Was the table type MyISAM prior to the upgrade?

I didn't look specifically before the upgrade. But I seem to remember that it was MyISAM because I remember it standing out against (looking different than) all the other InnoDB tables.

I just restored my backup database and yes, it was MyISAM prior to the upgrade.

Make sure that the table does not exist, then apply the following patch to the upgrade script and run this patch:
