Hi!

i've set up using of avatars with all the 3 possibilities.

As max avatar dimension i set up 105.
max avatar size i set to 20000

Problem: Users cannot upload avatars, there is an failure message:

Quote:

Die Ausmaße des Avatar von (99x85) überschreiten die maximal erlaubte Größe von (105).

As you can see i use the german language settings so i will translate that:

Quote:

Size of Avatar (99x85) is more than the max. allowed size (105)


Confused

avatar is an joda.jpg with 4,53 KB and the size is really 99x95

Other file upload are possible.

Aha I see the problem... the max avatar dimension in admin setting should be [width]x[height] (without the []) because you specified just 1 one number validation fails.

I've tryed that, but i can only give one value in this field, if i set it to 105x105 and push "set" there is only 105 in this field.

I also tryed 105*105 and 105X105, same result..

The the separator for numbers MUST BE a lower case x

So once you enter 105x105 and click save the forum remembers the value as 105? Are you sure your browser is not caching the form value?

I tried to replicate that bug here but cannot seem to trigger it.

Hmm.. if i set it to 105x105 it does not work. Now i've set it to 200x200... that is ok Confused Rolling Eyes

Anyway..now it works.

Maybe you should explain this value in the form (..give widthxheight here)
