Hi all!

Bit unhappy tonight. Since a while our search engine is broken, but my lack of SQL-knowledge did even worsten the situation. Today I wanted to try to solve the problem with an upgrade to 2.7.2.. The upgrade failed and now I'm stuck.

This is the msg I get.. So, my question is, how can I fix my search engine as soon as possible in order that I can start the upgrade...

Checking if SQL permissions to perform the upgrade are avaliable
Disable the forum
Forum is now disabled
Beginning the file upgrade process
Begining to decompress the archive
Finished decompressing the archive
File Upgrade Complete
Any changed files were backed up to: "/home/httpd/vhosts/czechslovakforum.be/httpdocs/1/errors/.backup/"

Beginning SQL Upgrades
MySQL Error: #1016 (Can't open file: 'fud26_search_cache.MYD'. (errno: 144)): show fields from fud26_search_cache

Thanks to all!

(Sorry I'm a dummy-starter Sad )

This is a mysql error, you can probably fix it by running:

REPAIR TABLE fud26_search_cache;

This is a MySQL query you run via your Mysql interface tool.

Thanks, repairing went okay, but now appears another problem:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare fud_sql_error_handler() (previously declared in /home/httpd/vhosts/czechslovakforum.be/httpdocs/1/index.php:17) in /home/httpd/vhosts/czechslovakforum.be/httpdocs/1/include/core.inc on line 141

So, what now Smile Thanks for your support!

Can't... Because I had to change my pssword at my localhost, so the upgradescript blocks... And I can't change core.inc because it's in an APACHE directory...

Make a tiny script that would chmod GLOBALS.php inside the include/ dir 666 so you can edit it.

Does the msg_1 file exist, if so does the webserver have permission to open it?

Hmmm, indeed the old msg-files seemed to be deleted, although I didn't delete them... So, how can they be gone or are they moved?

That's why I asked if you've ran it... it could've been a possible explanation for the file being gone. No other part of the forum tries to remove that file, ever.
