Hi,

First congrats on a very nice product Smile

The problem I'm having - just downloaded the lastest version and trying to install. When I get to the database part it response with cannot connect.

I have set the database up (mysql) and connected to it fine using phpmyadmin. Also triple checked the db name, username, password. I have tried using 'localhost', '127.0.0.1', the actual server IP as well as the mysql sock - nothing works.

Is there a problem with the newest version? or do I need to so something else like put quotes around certain values or something?

There is no problem with latest version and MySQL connections, this very forum is running on MySQL. What is the precise error that you are seeing?

Sorry, I think I found the problem - I forgot about cpanel not prefixing the password. Sorry about that!!
