I must make maillist.php executable to have aliases work. However, when I 'locked' my files from the admin panel, it removed the execute permission.
To tighten security, I'm planning to change the owner to 'postfix' and only give it execute permission. Which I assume will make this moot, but also appears to cause an error message when 'locking' the files?

The error message you'll see on file locking is just a warning you can ignore it. But be sure that maillist.php has permissions to open all the files it needs, otherwise it will not work.
