Hi, all. I'm an administrator on a FUDForum site, but I'm mostly just a system admin and don't deal with the site much - it pretty much runs itself - which is why it's taken me so long to get around to asking this.

After one upgrade long ago, and I'm not sure which one, a whole bunch of CVS directories got strewn about the filesystem. However, I never used CVS to install or upgrade, I just downloaded the upgrade scripts as I migrated from one to the next. I'm just wondering if it's safe for me to delete these directories.

Yes, you can safely remove all the CVS directories.
