Is it a bug that causes a new forum account to be able to post before they are verified? This happened to us today. Someone got an account just to abuse us for banning him from the game server. Thoughts?

Are you referring to moderated account (where new accounts need to be approved by the admin first) or e-mail confirmation?

The latter. He now has four accounts from which he is posting before he confirms his account. Accounts are currently unmoderated.

I just tried to replicate the problem on my development board and unconfirmed users get an error message anytime they try to post a reply or a new topic. You can see this at http://bb.prohost.org/new/
