What would the best settings be to ensure that my users don't get logged out premature? I sometimes notice that I have to log in many many times.

Simply increase the session length and disable URL sessions.

the default is set to 1800

What is that in real time? Can I cause problems if I set it too high?

1800 is 30 minutes, the session values are set in seconds.

Premature log out is a problem of many men across the country. Wink

Fortunately, I don’t’ suffer from this problem while using 29030400 as my cookie and session time out number. That’s close to a year.
