the pop-up window comes out, then i make the new poll but when i click the update button it does nothing. IE gives me the followed message:
line:65
char:2
Error:'window.opener.document' is null or is not an object
Code:0
Url:my url

I dunno why that's happening.. Any suggestions??

PD Actually i can't use any function that uses pop-up windows... Sad

What are your IE's security settings? Do you have any toolbars loaded that may prevent popups or similar things?
