I have downloaded the forum software an installed it on my server.
Attribs from install.php changed to 777.

When i try to open www.xxx.xx/install.php it came "PHP SAFEMODE IS ENABLED" but i can see the directories on the server to install the forum.
After i pressed the next-button is get this site:

Warning: gzuncompress(): data error in /home/www/web498/html/install_safe.php on line 526
Archive did not pass checksum test, CORRUPT ARCHIVE!
If you've encountered this error it means that you've:
downloaded a corrupt archive
uploaded the archive in ASCII and not BINARY mode
your FTP Server/Decompression software/Operating System added un-needed cartrige return (' ') characters to the archive, resulting in archive corruption.

Whats wrong?

Sorry, my english is not very well. I hope someone here can help me.

Greets from Germany

Frank

I tested this script on a server and obtained same thing.
I think it is a problem of server limitation. The script launch a program that take a lot of ressource and i think it die on executing. Look at your php.ini if there is a parameter tu increase.

I suggest you download the latest version (2.7.5 final) and try again. If you still get problems, report them here.

This is not a FUDforum problem. Please compare the downloaded file's md5 checksum with the checksum provided on the download page.

$ md5sum FUDforum_zl_2-7-5.tar.gz
