Hello,

I was wondering if it's possible to make images uploaded or linked to display in an IFRAME of the size of the pic itself or say 800x800 pix sized or whichever is smaller?

I'm asking because people link up these huge pics and force everyone to scroll to read anything. Having a fixed IFRAME size for all linked or uploaded pics would be 2nd best, but then all pictures would be forever trapped inside a relatively larger IFRAME and away from corresponding text or other pics.

Thanks for any help you might give in this matter!

Rather then an iframe you can try using CSS to put images into a div with max dimensions causing it to scroll. You'd need to edit postproc.inc.t for that.

Hi Ilia,

thanks for your quick reply. I'm a total newb to CSS. I couldn't find postproc.inc.t in the theme editor or the file manager. Where is that guy? Smile

This is actually a PHP script file which contains the code responsible for generating image tags inside messages. The style sheet is called forum.css.tmpl, but before you tweak the style you'd need to adjust the generated image tag to support css size container.

OK, I found forum.css.tmpl but where do I adjust the generated image tag? Is that within the forum.css.tmpl, another tmpl (can't find it) or somewhere else?

You'd need to create a new tag and make the forum generated <img src> tags indicate that style via a class attribute.

Looks like beyond the scope of my knowledge to do that. Thanks for your replies anyway.
