Hi All;

On my site (http://www.vbmysql.com/forums) I show fudforum in an iFrame to ease the integration into the layout of the rest of the site. The only issue is that when a user follows a link from a notification email, it takes them to /forum instead of /forums and they see just the forum with no site headings to navigate.

What I would like to do is show a special header if the site is not being loaded from within an iframe. Any ideas?

You may be able to use JavaScript to determine if the forum is shown in a frame or not and if it is not use JavaScript to redirect the user into an iframe embedded version.

Thanks Ilia, turns out it is easier than one would think when using Javascript.

Would you be willing to share how to do this -- if you need payment, I could send some beer/wine money via PayPal.

Google has plenty of example JavaScript on this topic.
