Can users post to the FUDforum via email, and can they receive all new posts though email?

In other words, can a user fully participate in a forum without accessing the forum on the web?

Thanks,
Omar

It is possible to configure it in such a way via the means of the mailing list gateway.

We don't use this on this forum.

Thanks. Do you know of a forum that does where I could check it out?

Check the archives for people talking about using this feature. I don't know of a forum of a top of my head.

I will. Is the feature called "mailing list gateway"?

Yes, that would be the core component of such capability.
Basically you'd have an e-mail address per-forum and any message sent there would then result in the creation of a message on the forum.

That sounds like what I'm looking for, I'll search for it.

Thanks!
