Hi there,

I'm using fudforum version 2.7.5. I have some problems applying my theme. I can successfully run the forum in the standard path_info theme. So path_info works & all...

I setup a theme based on the path_info theme after turning path_info urls on. With this new theme set as default I can browse the forum. However if I try to login and then click any link, I'm immediately logged out again. I can access the admin pages cause the 1st page after login form submission is as expected.

(all urls are rendered in "path_info-format")

Has anyone experienced this same problem?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

No, I am just trying to narrow down the problem. Does it work if you use just cookies?

It's been a while, but maybe it's useful for someone else.
I was developing on virtual host without any dots. For example:
http://mydomain/forum/ ...

That's what caused the cookie mechanism to fail. After changing the virtual hostname to http://whatever.mydomain.lan/ all worked fine.

That's a standard cookie issue, as browsers will generally refuse to a set a cookie on a "domain" without any periods in it. This means to allows for cookies to work you need to use 127.0.0.1 rather then localhost.
