hi @ all,

I have installed fud forum in my domain and when i try to register a new user by clicking a register button i am getting the following error message,

ERROR: stmp server at mail.peopletech.co.in is not available
Additional Problem Info: 111 -> Connection refused

I take it you configured the forum to use SMTP gateway rather then the native mail() funciton? What happens is that the forum is trying to send registration confirmation mail via SMTP and it appears (from the error message) that the PHP is failing to connect to it.

thank for ur response

and after removing the mail function it is working thru my domain smtp server.

now it is working fine.
