Hi all:

I'm not a great fan of having the word 'sticky:' appear when I pin a topic. Everything else on my site is icon-based, and I'd rather replace 'sticky:' with http://www.jeb.org.uk/~fletch/JEB%20Forum%20Graphics/Smilies/Pinned.gif.

Of course, with it not being replacing an icon with another icon, I have no idea which template to amend.

I'd appreciate a pointer in the right direction.

Thanks for any and all help.

You need to edit thread.tmpl template and look for the "sticky" text.

Ilya:

Thanks for the speedy response. Nonetheless, it would have been of more use to tell me where this sticky text is. I've looked through the first view and am having no luck. Would you mind being a bit more precise, please? My bandwidth is not the best at the minute, so I don't really want to spend all day wading through different files.

This is what I can see at the moment:

http://www.jeb.org.uk/~fletch/JEB%20Forum%20Graphics/Threadtmpl.gif

I also went to the threadt.tmpl files, where there is a subfolder called "Sticky". However, nothing I did there had any noticeable effect at all.

So what exactly do I have to edit?

Thanks again.

That's great stuff, thanks again. I'd just started work on that bit myself anyway Razz

Thanks ever so much for the quick feedback and help. It's yet another reason that I'm glad to have selected FUD forums.

Take care.
