No more scrolling up when applying style to a message [message #28887]

Something is quite annoying when you want to add some style to the message using the buttons of the post page : the fact that the cursor always go back to the top of the message (at least in Firefox).

Could you fix it so that when applying style such as bold, color, italic, size (etc), or inserting smileys the cursor stays there and the user does not have to scroll down again and again ? Other forum software do it correctly, like Invision Power Board.

Also, a sup/sub button would be appreciated by the mathematicians among us Wink

The ^{[ sup ]} and _{[ sub ]} tags exist (minus the spaces) but there is simply no room for additional buttons. If you need those buttons, simply replace the code behind existing buttons with those two, you can do this by editing post_common.tmpl template.

The focus issue has been resolved in CVS.
