i would like to add a link at the top of the "menu bar" to a gallery for example, how would i do that?

also, how do i remove the last message column on the fron page?

can anyone post a sample on how to do this? like i want to edit the help button to say gallery, i've figured out how to point the help button to a new page, but now i need to edit the text
