What is the function of an account moderator? I've checked the manual, but it hasn't been updated yet.

PS: I'm looking for a privilege that will allow moderators to ban/unban users without granting them admin access.

Account moderators can manage user accounts in the same manner as admins can, with the exception that they cannot make users administrators.

Account moderators are way too powerful as they can:
- change the admin user's settings
- promote other user to be moderators or account moderators
- demote moderators and account moderators
- etc.

Can their access be further restricted?

There are no plans to modify their access beyond what it is right now.

Well, it will help if we can at least prevent account moderators from messing with admin and other moderator accounts.
