Our forum is working with the "path" - method. We now "embedded" the forum into a 3 column CSS-Layout.
Depending where you come from (standard forum or mail), the link to a specific post may be different. Anyhow the generated html-Code is identical (which the exception of the date and time of generation).
So to my total surprise the optical appearance is anyhow very different DESPITE SAME HTML - In one case the main block mooves upwards with the and then below the header von the CSS layout, so the main menu becomes invisible, also a large part of the left side.
Strange thing, but look and try yourself:

Also I was wondering why in one case it was "66" and in the other "36". This stopped me from using a simple mod_rewrite ...

OK, solved it mayself:
was caused by the tag
<a name="msg_{VAR: obj->id}"></a>
I guess this is for country flag, which we do no use.
Removing this link solved the whole issue, although I really do not know why.
