How to change default values when creating new forums [message #38274] |

Good evening from Melbourne, Australia.
To create a new forum I go to the Admin Control Panel.
Then, under "Forum Management" I select "Category & Forum Management".
In the table which appears at the bottom, in the colum labelled "Category Name" I find the Category under which I want to create a new Forum.
In the column labelled "Action" I click on "[Edit Forums]"
I'm now at a page labelled "Editing forums for [Name of Category]".
Many of the items listed have default values.
For example ...
Moderated Forum = No
Can moderator(s) bypass attachment limits = No
Notify moderator(s) of all new messages: = No
Here is my question: How can I alter the message board settings so that the default values are permanently different?
For instance, so that all the above "No" values will always default to "Yes" values whenever I create a new forum?
Thanks for any assistance with this.

Good morning.

Thanks for the clarification Ilia. No problem. It's easy and fast to set the required values, anyway.
