First please stop posting the same message in dosen different forums, that'll only get you banned.
As far as the fix, modify GLOBALS.php inside the include directory that contains cookie settings, they login to your via the admin control panel,
http://your_forum_url/adm/ and once logged in rebuild theme via theme manager.

You don't lose anything by rebuilding the theme, you need to perform the process in order to populate compiled templates with new setting values.

If you have the web developer extension enabled you have an option called "View Cookie Information".

Change the cookie domain to forum.mysite.com or .mysite.com and then rebuild the theme. Then try the login process again.

I doubt it, I've ran forum on SSL many times without any such problems. Can you login and see what headers the forum sends back by using "View Response Headers" option.
Have you tried verifying the problem in other browsers?

It looks like you turned on PATH_INFO based theme but your server does not actually support it... Clicking on the different links does nothing.

Hello I seem to be having a similar problem... I tried to adjust the cookie time out and now, I can not reset it.. I can not access any parts of the admin control panel except global configuation, and even there, It will not allow me to change any settings. I can not access the forums theme. I can get into the them how ever any attempts to rebuild the theme or creat a new one only results in me being logged out... Regardless what Setting or what I try to do, I get logged out. I cant even access the forums and go from one forum to another with out being logged out. If i try to change any settings I get logged out and when i review the setting I just changed, I notice that Fudforums has changed it back to where it was. curently all cooke settings are set to 0 and session cookies are disabled. how ever it will not allow me to change any of it, I can not rebuild the theme or change any settings in side the admin control panel. Is there another way that you are aware of?
Also Im new to all of this, there for, I do not know a whole lot about this type stuff..
Please,, if you are able to do so,,, Please help me.... I made a silly mistake, I know. but live and learn I guess..
Matt

You can edit the GLOBALS.php by hand inside the include/ directory and change the cookie settings and domain settings to their previous values. Then you should be able to login.

thats what is throwing me off... Im not sure I understand what you mean when you say "include/directory"
Ive looked and can not find that...
and as far as the error goes,,, are you saying that there is something missing that goes to globals.php??? let me tell you what i did...
there is no edit options to edit the files. therefore, what I did was, I clicked on globals.php and it opened up to show me its script. I could not open it there. what I did was I copied all of the text and I pasted it into Note Pad and I edited the cookie time out.. than I saved it as globals.php and I uploaded the new file back to the fud forums directory and it I guess it did a over write and it replaced the existing file.. but now, I cant get in period...
Im almost 99.9% positive that I made a terrible mistake some where,, I just hope that it isnt too bad to fix.... and also, I have no idea as to how to fix.
below im showing how my globals.php script now looks.

The include directory I am referring to is:
/home/tglifef/FUDforum/include/
the GLOBALS.php "files" inside
/home/tglifef/public_html/fudforums and /home/tglifef/public_html/fudforums/adm should be symlinks to this file.
The GLOBALS.php you've pasted looks to be ok.

You can try running the upgrade script, but before you do make sure that the domain settings are correct inside GLOBALS.php
