I received this error when upgraded from 2.2.1 to 2.2.3 and whenever I try to rebuild a template.
Undefined sec: register_err_taken_alias

That is why, you need to copy some files, from the default template (default directory) into the one you've made yourself.
Specifically the msg files, in the i18n directory.

Can you give me a the path of the file I need to copy over? I see a msg file in the i18n/english, but my template already has that.

Ok, I did a grep on "register_err_taken_alias" and copied all files that contained it from the default to my template and this worked.
I'm still not 100% on how to keep my custom templates up-to-date with the upgrades. It seems they aren't upgraded along with the process. Should they be?
