Dear FUDforum friends

I've just transfer from VBulletin 2.x to FUD 2.2.3.

The install process looks O.K., and the old accounts can read all old messages just transfered, and new users can register to be our members and browse all messages.

Now comes the problem, no one can post! Every account receive "Your account has been blocked from posting" message when they want to start new thread or just reply. Even the admin account is blocked!

I've checked all Control Panel setting, no one is blocked, and no forum has been set to "Post-No" permission. I can't figure it out why?

My server is Linux 2.4.19/apache 1.3.26/php 4.2.2/MySQL 2.3.51/FUDforum 2.2.3
My php was compiled as static module into apache, the php_flag about file_uploads is set to 1.

Can anyone please help?

Are there any IP/Email/Login filters in the system?

Check the Group(s) Manager, the one linked to from the front page and check that registered users have Post permission.

Dear prottoss, thanks for your quick respond.

About your suggestion, I've examined over and over, nothing was wrong. And there's no any ip/email/login filters.

Now I close our forum temporarily, download 2.3.0rcx(the newest one), try again. I'm trying now...

Well, I was unable to read the error message, so that was not much help.

Run the following query in MySQL and reply with the output.

SELECT user_id,resource_id,group_id,p_POST,p_REPLY FROM fud21_group_cache;

wait...

I've tried another new install with FUD2.3.0RC3.
I can post after the install, and I can post after creating my i18n sets ( charset, locale, msg...). The only suspect remains is the vb2TOfud2 script.

I'm testing it...

My forum is now O.K. with FUD2.3.0RC3.

The story is:
After vb2TOfud2 conversion, everyone is blocked again. I checked it again in control panel and found this:
Email filter --> simple
IP filter --> *.*.*.*

I deleted the Email filter, it's fixed! Everyone can post & reply.

I went back to check VBulletin setting, the "banip" & "banemai" were empty, while the "enablebanning" was set to "1". This is why vb2TOfud2 produced those two filter.

In my personal opinion, FUD is much more better than VBulletin. I like FUD's clean, flexible, esp. i18n design. Nice work!
