I edited the templates a bit, and recompiled and optimized. now I'm getting this error whenever I try to post:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: reverse_fmt() in .../forum/theme/default/post.php on line 396
I backed up the original template before I made any modifications, but I foolishly did not backup before I recompiled and optimized. please tell me there's a quick fix. :-)

WAIT! I rebuilt again and working. *phew* did I get the error because I optimized after I rebuilt? should I do it the other way around?

Don't use the optimizer, it is HIGHLY experimental and will break the compiled themes under many conditions.
