1) Many users wont see name (or part of name) of last post in forum in column "Last post" on the main forum's page and on sub-forum's index-page. This hack add usability to FUD.

2) Can You add in "Admin Panel" field "Date/Time format"?
IMHO, string "Wed, 23 October 2002 11:32" is very long.
Some users prefer shorter string like "23.10.02 11:32" or another.

Templating system exist for that very reasons, if you want to change the formatting of the date, you can do so by modifying the template. No reason to add cumbersome options in the admin control panel.

On main page FUD, in the column " Last Post " are shown only date and the author. I offer to show besides it also the name of last message in this forum.

For example, as here:
This is main page of forum:
http://linuxportal.ru/tmp/lastpost.gif

It seems to me, it would add to a forum usability.

Too much information, I think it would clutter up the front page too much. The subject of the message can be quite long (100 characters) putting in there could and will ruin the layout.

And it is possible to show not full subject, but just only the first 25 symbols?

I'd suggest putting this information as a hint box because this information would really make layout unreadable.

I'd prefer full date (with time) of last message.

In the latest CVS moving the mouse over the arrow button on the front page leading to the latest post inside the forum, will show the subject of that post.
