I was customizing some of the text messages in the default theme and came across this error:

duplicated message: in /home/<domainname>/<domain-directory>/ccnmforum/thm/default/i18 n/english/msg on line #302, previous entry found on line #301 in /home/<domainname>/<domain-directory>/ccnmforum/thm/default/i18 n/english/msg

(items in "<" and ">" have been edited)

This is what I did:

  1. click on Template Editor
  2. click on register.tmpl
  3. click on REGISTER PAGE
  4. click Edit Text Messages
  5. remove the entire comment beside "register_bday_desc:"
  6. click the Edit button

What I got first was an error (unfortunately, I didn't copy it). When I tried to put something back in the "register_bday_desc:" section, I got the above error.

I tried to rebuild the theme but got the same error message as above.

Do I have to replace the msg file again? (and rebuild)

Replacing the file & rebuilding should fix the problem, before you do that however could you please send me the broken msg file. I would like to determine what has caused this problem.
