I've been poking around and am having trouble figuring this one out. I'm probably missing something very simple.
I am setting up fudforum as a private forum, but it will be accessible from the internet. I want to register users manually and not allow anybody from outside to access the registration pages.
How can I accomplish this?
Pointers to code modification is necessary are much appreciated.

You can keep this option on, when you need to add members you can temporarily enable registration, register the members you need and then turn it off again.
I will seriously consider adding and admin control panel that would allow you to add users. In fact it may even make it into the 2.3.5 release.
