Install went fine, posting gives SQL error [message #8050]

When I try posting or reading a message, I get an error like:

Server Version: PostgreSQL 7.3 on i686-pc-linux-gnu, compiled by GCC egcs-2.91.66

I'm using the latest postgres and php, both built from
sources in the last couple weeks.

Attached to this thread is an installer with fixes aimed at PostgreSQL.

The problem you are experiecing is due to PostgreSQL 7.3+ dropping support for LIMIT [n,[n]]

Thanks... The new code works fine on my ssytem with Postgres. For future reference, is there a way to patch the installation without wiping everything out?
