There are a number of features that I want to add to the forum, however after reviewing the code I've been unpleasantly surprised by the large number of hacks that are in it. These are the result of numerous feature additions that built upon hacks upon hacks, which resulted IMHO in rather messy code that does not work in the most optimal fashion.
Therefor I've decided to go through a major code cleanup, who's goal is to simply & optimize existing code. This will create a solid code base upon which further features can be built upon.
As part of this code review/rewrite I also intend to utilize various PHP code optimization tricks that I've uncovered.
As you can imagine, this will be rather long process, which may last as long as a month before the 1st beta is out followed by 1-2 releases to address the various buglets that may have slipped in. So, do not worry if I am somewhat unresponsive in the coming weeks ahead.
