I'm having the exact same problem, also with PostgreSQL 7.2.1 and FUDforum build 20030626. I have never installed FUDforum before, so I'm absolutely positive the tables don't already exist.

Seems to be something wrong with FUDforum and Postgres 7.2.1. I'll try to convince my admin to upgrade to 7.3.1, but I don't think it's very likely to happen anytime soon...
