Synch of newsgroup posts with web forum ? [message #161771]

Suppose one is synchronising newsgroup posts with web forum posts.

One connects to an NNTP server with 10 messages in.

The web server (I hope) then has 10 messages.

If I deleted 4 of those posts in the forum would the "missing" 4 be re-downloaded during the next download ?

Or would the web forum "know" that those four messages had already been downloaded once and not download them again ?
