Most of us use desktop newsreaders... I user Thunderbird for example.
The advantage of using desktop newsreaders, is that you can ignore
threads, so you will never seem them again. Block spammy users and
ignore trolls.

For this you need access (username and password) to a Usenet server,
using the NNTP protocol.

There are some free Usenet servers around to accomplish this...
