Yes, he is a troll, and he'll keep right on as long as someone keeps the
subject alive. He's ego-centric, demeaning, condescending, ignorant of
social skills and feels like a powerless twit or he wouldn't try to derive
power from others the way he does. He's best ignored; regardless of what he
says.
This kind of post will usually result in his calling the poster the troll
instead in his fit of powerlessness but he only has as much power as people
give him.
