My computer, windows 2000pro, I can't install programs or anything because it said I do not have enough rights, saying user with administrator rights can do it- the problem, I cant logon unto the account with admin. right or create a new one because I don't know the administrator's password for me to have those rights.

My question is:
* How do I create a new user that would would have administrative rights and access without loggin onto the admin.-so to do it from the limited users or restricted users group. I know this can be done, but I don't know how.

I stumble once upon a website,( Unf. I don't remember that web either) It tells you how to write a few code in notepad and save it as a .bat file and open it, then it creates for you a new admin.

* Can it be done in Dos- I just used the "net user admin /add" and it adds an account called admin, how how do I apply rights to that account, did it go some where like this, "net user admin /localgroup/ administrator/ add" or what? I try that but not work. Some expert here can help me out creating a new account with administrative control withoutlogging into the admin. accounts with admin rights already?

Please help me, I'm locked out of my own computer!

Thanks guys
