I got the same issue (I locked the files and now the forum is forbidden). I am still running 2.5.2, but I don't want to upgrade mostly because I'd lose all my special formatting, plus risks of more screw-ups.

I tried to chmod all files to 666 and all folders to 777. Didn't work. Should I do something else, should it have worked ?
