My forum's name needs the character "�", so, in the main administration panel, I put é in place of that "�", and all goes fine with the forum itself.

Now, if I read a thread, I can generate printable PDF from it. In the generated PDF, there is a footline that says :

Page 1 of 1 ---- Generated from <name of the forum with é> by FudForum 2.7.2.

This is where the HTML entity for "�" comes literally : I see "é" in there instead of "�".

I'll just PM such a PDF file for you to see.
