sorry to hijack your post but I'm getting no reply on mine.

"after succesful registration in the forum users not getting a mail for the registration confirmation. I tried it also with a other user name than the admin and not get the auto replay from the forum."

The difference with me is, my server does not allow SMTP. So I have to use the mail() function. But the strange this is, I have received mail when replies have been posted. So the server must be set up for this. It seems to just be the registration confirmation emails that are not going out.

In Global Configuration, Email Settings:
Allow Email: yes
Use SMTP To Send Email: no
all SMTP notes: empty
Email Confirmation: yes
Administrator Email & Notify From: mail(at)adress(dot)us
Notify W/Body: no
