if the moderator wants to warm the user about something they can simply send a private message

That is enough only in simple cases. When administrator want to have more advanced warning system (user ban after 3 warnings, for example) he must do a lot of manual work: sending of numerous PM's, logging of warnings in notepad and so on.
Do you plan to develop such an advanced warning system? It would be really helpful.
