my forum (http://www.encoreclassifieds.com) is used for buying, selling and trading of goods.

That being said, the karma system is PERFECT, aside from the following:
- users cannot see who gave them +1 or -1
- users cannot see the thread source of the +1 or -1
- admins are stuck with the labor of answering the who, what, when, where, how and why of everyone, and then settling the disputes

Can this karma system be expanded?

Yes, it can be expanded.
No, I'm not going to do it as I don't use it on any of my forums.

Bottom line, write a patch or convince/motivate someone to do it and we will include it into the next release.
