Hi,
I've installed fud forum & now need to structure it into groups, categories, newsgroups, topics, but am not sure how to do this.
I've read through the doc. and the control panel but am still confused. Can someone explain how these items relate to each other, perhaps referring to this forum's structure as an example.

Categories contain forums. Topics are inside forums. Groups control permissions to 1 or more forums. Newgroups are not at all related, other then that you can make FUDforum mirror a newsgroup.
