Hi,
Additional info...
Just before this error, I deleted the "Anonymous" user listed in the user manager of the forum (email address dev@null). In prev. forum discussion, suggested fix is to run the upgrade script to re-create the missing user entry.

Plse confirm that I should do this. Is this problem also to do with wrong dir permissions?

Forum is not visible/accessible .. replaced by error msg.

Thanks,
Rob

Rerunning the upgrade is in fact the correct fix for this problem. Your analysis of the problem was correct and this is due to permissions problem because permissions cannot be resolved with nonexistent user.

Hi,
During the upgrade for 260 RC11 I got this err msg:

Fatal error: SQL Error has occurred, please contact the administrator of the forum and have them review the forum's SQL query log in /www/business/4857/nb_forum/include/theme/default/db.inc on line 46

Afterwards the consistency checker did not auto appear, so I clicked on 'MUST click here' link, then got the same err msg again without c.checker running??

Should I have changed the permissions on any directories before doing the upgrade?

The sql_errors file is attached.

Thanks,
Rob

Hi,
Is someone has also deleted the anonymous user but fixed the problem, I'd be grateful if you could read my emails and help me out.

Thanks,
Rob

The error appears to be the result of the forum not being able to update the session validation string, because the user id is missing. I presume this is the error you get when you try to login in order to run the consistency checker?
